India GDS Merit List 2024: India Post will announce the India Post GDS Merit List 2024 soon. Once released, candidates will be able to check and download the Gramik Dak Sevak first merit list at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

India Post is expected to issue the cut-off marks and other details alongside the first merit list. The merit list will be based on marks obtained or grades/points converted to marks from the Secondary School Examination (10th standard) of recognised boards, aggregated to a percentage with an accuracy of up to four decimal places.

All shortlisted candidates must attend a physical verification process. The dates for this verification will be communicated to candidates via SMS on their registered mobile numbers. Candidates are also required to submit an undertaking in the format provided in Annexure-IX, acknowledging the penalties for providing false or incorrect information on the form.

The selected candidates will be appointed as Branch Postmaster (BPM) or Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) / Dak Sevak. The salary for ABPM / Dak Sevak ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,470 per month, while for BPM it ranges from Rs 12,000 to Rs 29,380 per month. Applicants aged between 18 and 40 years with a Class 10 certificate are eligible to apply.

In a notification released in July, India Post, the country’s largest postal network service, announced the recruitment of 44,228 vacancies for the position of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). Online applications for these positions were accepted from July 15 to August 5, 2024, through the website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

Step 1: Go to the official website-- indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link India Post GDS Merit List 2024 on the homepage

Step 3: The India GDS Merit List 2024 PDF will appear on the screen

Step 4: Now candidates can check their roll number and names on the PDF
