India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: The Department of Posts is scheduled to open the application correction window for India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 today, August 6, 2024. The last date to make changes will be August 8, 2024. Candidates who have applied for the India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 can edit their application form at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 44,228 Gramin Dak Sevak positions across 23 postal circles nationwide. Key states include Rajasthan with 2,718 posts, Bihar with 2,558, Uttar Pradesh with 4,588, Chhattisgarh with 1,338, and Madhya Pradesh with 4,011. The recruitment will also cover Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process involves the preparation of a merit list by the organisation. The merit list will be based on the marks obtained or the conversion of grades/points to marks in the Secondary School Examination of the 10th standard from recognised boards, with percentages calculated to an accuracy of four decimal places, as per the official notification.

The GDS posts include Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevaks. Applicants must have completed Class 10 with compulsory subjects in Mathematics and English and should know how to ride a bicycle. The age requirement is between 18 and 40 years, with age relaxations provided for candidates from reserved categories.

Step 1: Go to the official website-- indiapostgdsonline.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the link India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 on the homepage

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and candidates will have to enter the required details on the portal

Step 4: Click on the submit button and the application form will display on the screen

Step 5: Now candidates will have to check their application form carefully and make the required changes if needed
