JEE Main Exam 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has added Abu Dhabi as the JEE Main examination center outside India. This decision has been taken to support the student community of the city. Students can register for the JEE Main 2024 exam till November 30, 2023, at jeemain.nta.ac.in and can check the notification regarding the addition of the Abu Dhabi exam center at nta.ac.in.
“Based on the request of the Ambassador of India, Abu Dhabi to support the student community of Abu Dhabi, it has been decided to add Abu Dhabi as an Examination City for the JEE (Main) – 2024. Here it may be noted that the cities of Dubai and Sharjah are already examination Cities for the JEE (Main) – 2024,” reads the official notification.
Candidates must note that those who have already registered for the JEE Main exam 2024 can edit their application form and will be able to change the city centre during the correction time. The JEE main application correction window dates will be released soon on the NTA official website.
According to the schedule, the JEE Main online registration process was started on November 1, 2023, and the deadline to apply will be November 30, 2023. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee till November 30, 2023. The JEE main exam is scheduled to be held between January 24 and February 1, 2024. The admit card will be announced 3 days before the date of the commencement of the examination.

JEE Main 2024: Board Marks Disabled For Tamil Nadu Candidates 2021 Batch
The NTA has disabled the board result mode field and the associated fields for marks/CGPA for Tamil Nadu candidates who appeared during the COVID-19 outbreak 2021 batch. This decision has been taken due to it receiving various representations and requests from the candidates of the state for appearing in the JEE Main examination. Because of the COVID outbreak, no examinations were held for the class 10th 2021 batch. In their final result, only pass are printed in all subjects without any marks on their mark sheets.
"A few representations have been received from the candidates of Tamil Nadu state who have passed their class 10 or class 12 examination in the year 2021. Due to the Covid outbreak, no examinations were conducted for 2021 batch of class 10, so accordingly no marks were given on the marksheet and 'pass' is printed in all subjects with a disclaimer - "As per GO (Ms) No. 48, School Education (G.E.) department dated: 25.02.2021, all candidates who studied SSLC in the academic year 2020- 21 are declared passed," reads the official notification.
"To support the students from Tamil Nadu state, it has been decided that during the filling up of the online application form of JEE (Main)-2024, when candidate selects 'Passing year' as 2021 with 'School Board' as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Secondary), the result mode field will be disabled and the associated fields for marks/CGPA will be invisible for Tamil Nadu State Board candidates who have passed their Class 10 in year 2021," reads further.
