JEE Main 2026: The National Testing Agency has released the examination dates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2026) on their official website. Along with this, an advisory has also been published by the NTA. JEE Main session 1 will be conducted in Computer based test mode in two sessions—January and April. 

The online application link will be made active on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in soon. The exact date for registration has not been declared; however, the official notification mentions that the link will be made live in October, 2025.

JEE Main 2026: Examination Dates

The JEE Main session one examination is tentatively scheduled between January 21 and 30, whereas the Main session examination two is expected to be conducted from April 1 to 10 by the National Testing Agency.

It serves as the first step for admission to institutes like NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, and is also the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced, which is essential for (IITs). 

JEE Main 2026: Here's How to Apply Online

Step 1: Students must visit the official website of JEE Main 2026 to apply.

Step 2: Click on the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration link on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on New Registration and complete your information.

Step 4: Enter the required details in the designated field.

Step 5: Fill out the JEE Main 2026 application form and upload all the required documents.

Step 6: Submit the JEE Main 2026 application fee and download the confirmation page for future reference.
