Jharkhand NMMS 2024 Result: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Wednesday declared the National Means Merit Scholarship (NMMS) result 2024 for Class 8 students. Candidates can check their Jharkhand NMMS 2024 merit list at jacresults.com.

The Jharkhand NMMS 2024 examination took place on February 17, 2024. It is conducted for Class 8 students enrolled in government, government-aided, or local body schools. The scorecard contains important details including the candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, father's name, scores in the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), category, gender, and district name. Moreover, the council has issued the merit list along with the results.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students were required to participate in two tests: the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). A combined score of at least 40% in the NMMS examination, comprising both SAT and MAT, was necessary for qualification. However, for candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) categories, the minimum qualifying marks were set at 32%.

The selected students will be awarded a scholarship of Rs 12,000 per annum for the duration of their studies from Class 9 to 12. Moreover, the government provides a monthly scholarship of Rs 1,000 to the students for one year.

Step 1: Go to the official website--  jacresults.com.

Step 2: Click on the result tab on the homepage

Step 3: Now candidates will have to enter the  ‘roll number’ and ‘date of birth’ on the portal

Step 4: Click on the submit button and the Jharkhand NMMS 2024 will appear on the screen

Note; Download the Jharkhand NMMS 2024 and take a print out for future reference.
