The registration window will be closed on March 30, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the entrance test at jmicoe.in.
According to the schedule, the JMI entrance test will be conducted on April 25, 2024. Candidates must note that they may submit only one form for each program or group of programs, and submitting more than one form for the same program may result in rejection. Candidates are advised to read the JMI official notification carefully before applying for any courses.
In the descriptive section of the entrance exam, candidates scoring below 30 percent will not qualify for an interview or admission. Moreover, for each incorrect response in the Objective Type/Multiple Choice questions across all university programs, a deduction of 0.25 marks will be applied. Candidates failing to achieve a score of at least 15 percent of their total marks on the objective type/multiple choice questions will not be considered for an interview or admission.

For the majority of UG and PG courses, the university takes into account scores from CUET, JEE, and various other national-level tests. The university has stated that online admission forms for courses that necessitate tests conducted by JEE, NATA, and CUET will be accessible ten days after the announcement of results by the respective agencies.
Apart from BTech, BArch, BDS, and other courses, candidates eligible for UG and PG programs at JMI will be admitted based on merit determined by the JMI entrance test. Following the entrance test, candidates will undergo an interview.
