JoSAA Counselling 2024: Registration Process Begins For JEE Main, Advanced Qualified Candidates; Here's How To Apply

JoSAA Counselling 2024: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will start the JoSAA 2024 registration process today, June 10, 2024. This year, the JoSAA 2024 seat allocation process will be conducted in five rounds. Only candidates who qualify for JEE Main 2024 and JEE Advanced 2024 are eligible to register for JoSAA counselling. Candidates can submit their course and institute preferences online at josaa.nic.in.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) aims to streamline the admission process for over 100 engineering institutes in India, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Through JoSAA, candidates who qualify for JEE Main or JEE Advanced can apply for admission to these institutes using a single platform.

After registering for JoSAA 2024, candidates must complete the choice-filling process by selecting their preferred institutes and engineering streams. Based on these preferences and seat availability in the participating institutes, JoSAA will allocate seats to the candidates.

To assist candidates, JoSAA will provide two mock seat allocations based on the choices submitted by June 14 and June 16, with the results released on June 15 and June 17, respectively. The registration and choice-filling process will end on June 18, followed by data reconciliation and seat verification on June 19. The first round of seat allotment will take place on June 20, with subsequent rounds on June 27, July 4, July 10, and July 17. For each round, online reporting will be mandatory, including fee payment, document upload, and responding to queries.

Step 1: Go to the official website-- josaa.nic.in/.

Step 2: Click on the link “JoSAA Counselling Registration.” on the homepage.

Step 3: Now candidates will have to fill out the details and upload the required documents.

Step 4: Pay the required application fee and click on the submit button.
