MAH 3-Year LLB CET Answer Key 2024: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the MAH 3-Year LLB CET answer key, which includes the question paper and response sheet. The administrators have also disclosed the equated score calculating method utilized to generate the MAH LLB CET scores.
Students who took the MAH LLB CET exam 2024 on March 12 and 13 can receive their response sheets and answer keys from the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Those who are dissatisfied with the answer key will be allowed to file objections via the candidate login by paying Rs 1000 per question. The deadline to contest the answer key is April 3.
The computer-based test (CBT) had 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) separated into four sections: legal aptitude and reasoning, logical and analytical reasoning, general knowledge and current affairs, and English.
According to the marking structure, each correct answer will be worth one mark, with no negative marking for erroneous responses.
The state-level entrance exam for law admission was held over two days in different sessions. The question paper and difficulty level may differ because the exam lasted more than a day. In light of this, the CET Cell will utilize an equivalent score calculating method to ensure that no applicant benefits or loses because of the difficulty level of the tests.
To evaluate merit, officials calculate both the standard score and the equated score. The procedure consists of the following steps.
Step 1 - Calculate the mean and standard deviation of all students as a group.
Step 2: Calculate the mean and standard deviation of each session individually.
Step 3: Compute each student's standard score, including the mean and standard deviation.
The formula for calculating the standard score is as follows: Total marks - batch mean divided by batch standard deviation.
The equated score is now derived by multiplying the standard score and standard deviation while treating all applicants as a single group, and then adding the mean. The equivalent score will be rounded to the nearest whole number.
