CTET July 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to close the registration process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) in the July session. The CTET July 2024 exam will take place on July 7 in 20 languages in 136 places around the country. Eligible and eligible applicants can fill out the CTET application form 2024 through the official website, ctet.nic.in.

CTET test 2024 will be held in two shifts: paper 2 from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon, and paper 1 from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. CTET paper 1 is used to assess applicants' eligibility to teach in grades 1 through 5, and paper 2 is used to identify candidates' ability to teach in grades 6–8.

Applicants from the general and OBC (NCL) categories must pay an application fee of Rs 1,000, with an additional Rs 200 if they appear for both examinations. SC, ST, and differently-abled persons must pay Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both papers.

Candidates must also select four distinct exam centres in order of choice and proximity to their dwelling address.

“The candidate’s particulars cannot be changed/edited once the examination fee has been submitted. However, the facility of corrections in the particulars (except city of examination) may be made available on the portal during the specified period which will be notified on the website of CTET,” it said.
