MCC Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the choice filling deadline for NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 1 till 11:59 pm on August 9. As per the revised schedule, choice locking will begin at 6 pm on August 9 and close the same night. This extension provides candidates with additional time to finalise their preferences before the seat allotment process.

The seat allotment result for Round 1 will be announced on August 11, 2025, on MCC’s official website mcc.nic.in. Candidates are advised to download and retain the confirmation page after locking their choices.

How to Fill Choices for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2025?

  1. Visit mcc.nic.in and click on the NEET UG counselling link.

  2. Log in using your credentials.

  3. Fill in your preferred college and course options.

  4. Lock your choices before the deadline.

  5. Download and print the confirmation page for future use.

NRI Quota Priority Categories Announced

MCC has introduced two priority categories for the All-India Quota (AIQ) under the NRI quota:

  • Priority 1: Candidates who are NRIs themselves or children of NRIs.

  • Priority 2: Candidates who are first-degree or second-degree relatives of NRIs.

This classification will guide seat allotment under the NRI category.

-Choice Filling Deadline: August 9, 2025 (11:59 pm)

-Choice Locking Window: August 9, 2025 (6 pm to 11:59 pm)

-Seat Allotment Result: August 11, 2025

Students should ensure all choices are carefully reviewed before locking to avoid errors, as no modifications will be allowed afterward. Early submission is recommended to prevent last-minute technical issues.
