Modi 3.0 Cabinet Ministers: The Narendra Modi-led NDA government took oath on June 9. In the recent Lok Sabha elections, the NDA secured 293 seats, while the opposition, led by the India bloc, won 233 seats. Narendra Modi, BJP's leader, was sworn in as India's Prime Minister for the third consecutive term, marking a historic achievement as only the second Prime Minister, after Jawaharlal Nehru, to serve three consecutive terms.

The oath-taking ceremony took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Sunday, June 9, concluding the 17th Lok Sabha session and initiating the 18th Lok Sabha. According to a recent report by the poll rights body ADR, eleven out of 71 ministers in the new council of ministers have declared their educational qualification as 12th standard, while 57 ministers have declared having a graduate or higher educational qualification.

The analysis indicates that 15 percent of the ministers, or 11 out of 71, have declared their highest educational qualification as 12th standard. In contrast, a substantial majority of the ministers have attained higher education. According to the report, 80 per cent of the ministers, totaling 57, hold qualifications at the graduate level or higher. This group is further categorised to reflect various levels of advanced education, with 14 ministers having declared themselves as graduates with a basic university degree.

Moreover, 10 ministers hold professional graduate degrees, indicating specialised education in fields such as law, engineering, or medicine. The largest subgroup among the highly educated ministers comprises those with postgraduate degrees, totaling 26. Furthermore, seven ministers have reached the highest level of academic attainment by earning doctorate degrees. Apart from these, three ministers hold diplomas, having completed specialised programs that provide vocational or technical training.
