UPSC Civil Service Recruitment: As it celebrates its centenary, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is moving towards deeper inclusivity and modernisation in civil service recruitment. Chairman Ajay Kumar emphasised collaboration with State Public Service Commissions (SPSCs) to share best practices and strengthen feedback systems.

With digital tools, AI integration, and initiatives like 'My UPSC Interview,' the UPSC aims to remain a transparent, merit-based institution that shapes future governance.
The focus, he added, is on modernisation - extending beyond examination systems to building stronger connections with the youth, ensuring that the values of merit, transparency, and service remain enduring commitments for the future.

Digital modernisation is at the forefront of UPSC’s centenary roadmap. The commission plans to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced digital tools to streamline examinations, evaluation, and communication. Chairman Kumar emphasized that the next generation of aspirants, particularly from smaller towns, require smoother access to resources and platforms.
Initiatives like the anecdote portal ‘My UPSC Interview’ will deepen engagement by capturing personal stories of candidates, while new UPSC and centenary logos symbolise renewal and a forward-looking identity.
