Odisha Government: Students in classes 11 and 12 at various higher secondary schools in the state will receive free online tutoring for NEET and JEE, according to a decision made by the Odisha government.
There will be virtual coaching available. Therefore, the system's installation was left to the principals of upper secondary schools lacking interactive whiteboards or smart TVs.
According to the director, the Planning and Coordination Department's program has provided support for the creation of smart classrooms in a large number of higher secondary schools.
In this context, on Wednesday, Higher Secondary Education Director Raghuram R Iyer addressed a letter to the principals of all plus-II institutions that receive government and non-government assistance.
"It has been decided to provide supplementary online coaching to National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)/Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) aspirants pursuing their studies in government and non-government aided higher secondary schools for enhancement of their competitive ability," Iyer said.
"It is requested to make necessary arrangements to install an interactive panel or Smart TV in your HSS at the earliest," he further added in the letter.
The letter stated that higher secondary schools may use available funds from the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) account or HSS development fund by current finance department norms if they have not received funding in this respect.
