IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Revised Vacancy List Released, Check Category-Wise Details Here

IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has updated the tentative vacancy list for the RRB recruitment exam 2026. Candidates applying for the post of Clerk, Officer Scale I, II, and III must check the updated list and accordingly apply. According to the latest update, the number of vacancies for the Office Assistant post has been increased from 8,183 to 8,222. The details have been added to Annexure I of the detailed notification, which was released on September 1, 2026. 

Furthermore, there has been no revision in the total number of vacancies announced for Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II, and Officer Scale III. With this revision, the recruitment drive will fill a total of 13,745 posts under the IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026.

IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Revised Vacancy List

The post-wise vacancy details are as follows:

A total of 39 vacancies have been added to the Office Assistant posts, bringing the total number of vacancies to 8, 222. Adding to this, the authorities have clarified that, besides the vacancy update, all terms and conditions in the detailed notification released on September 1 remain unchanged. Depending on the actual vacancies communicated by the Regional Rural Banks, the vacancies may change. 

How To Apply for IBPS RRB Exam 2026?

The online registration will end on September 21, 2026. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to complete their registration process before the deadline. 

Step 1: Go to the official website at ibps.in.

Step 2: Select the registration link on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter basic details such as name, mobile number, and email address to register. Once it is done, you will get your login credentials.

Step 4: Using the above credentials, complete your application form with mandatory fields.

Step 5: Upload documents and pay the registration fee.

Step 6: Verify the details and submit the form. 

IBPS RRB Application Fee 2026

The application fee for the SC/ST/PwBD candidates is Rs 175 for Officer Scale I, II and III and Office Assistant, while Rs 850 for all other categories. The fee has to be paid using debit/credit/internet banking/mobile wallets, etc. The application will only be processed after the fee submission.
