NIOS Postpones Class 10, 12 Exams: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has ordered the postponement of various examinations in Bihar due to assembly elections. The students are advised to keep a close check on the official website of the NIOS to stay updated with the latest updates regarding the new examination dates for Class 10, 12.
The NIOS Class10,12 examinations were originally scheduled for November 6, 10, and 11 will now be conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling on later dates, which will be announced soon on the website of the NIOS.
According to the National Institute of Open Schooling, this postponement applies only to those examination centres which are located in Bihar. Exams at centres outside the state and abroad will continue as per the original released schedule. Students have been advised to keep checking the official website of NIOS for regular updates.

The postponed examinations include subjects from both the secondary and higher secondary levels education.
November 6, 2025: On November 6, the higher secondary examinations for Physics, History, Environmental Science, and Library and Information Science have been postponed by the NIOS.. At the secondary level, the exam for Painting will also be rescheduled for later dates due to elections..
November 10, 2025: On November 10, the higher secondary examinations for Biology, Accountancy, Introduction to Law, and Military History have been postponed by the NIOS. Similarly, at the secondary level, exams for Urdu, Sanskrit, Indian Sign Language, and Buddhist Philosophy have been cancelled.
November 11, 2025: On November 11, the higher secondary examinations for Mathematics and Vedic Studies and the secondary exam for English have been affected due to assembly elections 2025.
The NIOS Class 10, 12 examinations for the year 2025 are scheduled to continue till November 18, 2025. The next Class 10 examination will be conducted today, November 7, for Science and Technology, same for class 12th as well.
