List Of NIRF 2024 Top Universities In India: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 has been released by the Ministry of Education. This year, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has topped the universities category, with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) New Delhi in second place and Jamia Millia Islamia in third. These three universities have maintained their positions from last year, with IISc retaining the top spot for the past three years.

This year, the fourth position has shifted from Jadavpur University to Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. MAHE is followed by Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, which holds the fifth spot.

Delhi University has risen from 11th to 6th place this year, followed by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, which has maintained its 7th position from last year. Aligarh Muslim University has improved its rank from 9th to 8th. Jadavpur University has dropped to 9th place, down from 4th last year. Vellore Institute of Technology has also fallen, moving from 8th to 10th place.
