PM Internship Scheme: In a major opportunity for Bihar’s youth, the PM Internship Scheme has allocated 2,308 seats for students who have completed 10th, 12th, or graduation. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 and gain valuable experience through internships in top private companies. The application process is now open on the official PM Internship portal.

Internship Benefits & Opportunities

According to the State Bureau, Patna, this initiative aims to enhance employability by offering 12-month internships in various industries. While 2,308 seats have been allocated initially, more seats may be added if applications exceed expectations.

Selected candidates will benefit from:

- Internship opportunities in top private companies
- Rs 5,000 monthly stipend (Rs 6,000 for the first month)
- A chance to gain industry-specific experience
- Government-backed skill development

The central government has set a target of providing internships to one crore youth under this scheme. In Bihar, Patna district has been allocated one-third of the total seats, ensuring more opportunities for students from the capital region.

Who Can Apply? Eligibility & Application Process

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

-> Age: 21 to 24 years
-> Education: 10th, 12th, or graduate pass
-> Income Limit: Family’s annual income should be less than Rs 8 lakh

Note: Candidates with professional degrees such as B.Tech, MBA, CA, etc are Not Eligible.

How to Apply?

Interested candidates can apply online at pminternship.mca.gov.in. The Registrar of Companies, Patna, has been designated as the nodal agency for managing the program.

Additionally, selected interns will be covered under:

- Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana
- Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana

Bihar Gram Kachahari Secretary Recruitment

In other news, Bihar has released the merit list for 1,583 selected candidates for Gram Kachahari Secretary positions. Candidates have until March 5 to submit any objections online through the Panchayati Raj Department's grievance portal.

- Merit list released – objections opened till March 5

- Candidates must upload a notarized affidavit with their objections.

- The final list will be published after reviewing the objections

- Counseling sessions will be held for selected candidates
