Rozgar Mela 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's office announced on Tuesday, November 28, that he will deliver more than 51,000 employment letters via video conference to recently hired staff members of various government ministries on November 30.
Several central government ministries, state governments, and union territories are recruiting for the program, which is being hosted at 37 places nationwide as part of the "Rozgar Mela." The Prime Minister's Office claimed that these organizations are supporting this initiative.
Their new departments of employment will include labour and employment, home affairs, higher education, financial services, health & family welfare, education & schooling, defence, & health and revenue.
The PM's office issued an official statement, which reads, “Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilment of the commitment of the prime minister to accord highest priority to employment generation. It is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.”
It further stated that the new appointments will help realize Modi's vision of a developed India by providing their creative ideas and role-related competencies to the nation's efforts to promote industrial, economic, and social growth.
Additionally, the newly appointed employees will have the chance to further their education via "Karmayogi Prarambh," an online section of the iGOT Karmayogi platform that offers over 800 e-learning courses in an "anywhere any device" manner.
