JE Education Desk: The State Selection Board (SSB) Odisha has started the online application process for recruitment to the Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in non-government aided higher secondary schools. The last date to apply will be July 17. Interested and eligible candidates can apply at ssbodisha.ac.in.

SSB Odisha Recruitment 2023: Number Of Vacancies

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 555 vacant posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT).

SSB Odisha Recruitment 2023: Application Fee

The unreserved/ SEBC category applicants will have to pay Rs 500 as an application fee, while the SC/ST/PwD category candidates will have to pay Rs 200.

SSB Odisha Recruitment 2023: Age Limit

To apply for this post candidate's minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age of the applicants should be 38 years.

SSB Odisha Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The selection process will be based on a combination of a written test and a career assessment. The written test will carry a total of 150 marks, while the career assessment will be assigned a weightage of 50 marks.

SSB Odisha PGT Vacancies: Educational Qualification

-A candidate must have Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University or integrated six years Post Graduate Master’s course from Regional College of Education recognized by NCERT with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.

-A candidate must have acquired B.Ed. or equivalent Degree recognized by National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi as equivalent with B. Ed. from a recognized University / Institution.

-B. Ed. qualification is not the mandatory eligibility criterion for the post of PGT in Anthropology, Commerce, Education, Geography, Home Science, Logic & Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, IRPM, Telugu & Urdu subjects.

-B.Ed. qualification is the mandatory criterion for the post of PGT in Botany, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geology, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, Political Science, Sanskrit, and Zoology subjects.

Step 2: Click on the link ‘apply online on the homepage

Step 3: Now candidates will have to register with their required details

Step 4: Upload the required document and pay the required fee

Step 5: Click on the submit
