SSC Begins Registration For 2,049 Vacancies At ssc.nic.in; Check Exam Pattern, Application Fees Here

SSC 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has begun the application process for 2,049 open positions in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pension. Students can apply for these positions through the official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC is recruiting 255 scheduled castes, 124 scheduled tribes, 456 other backward castes, 1,028 unreserved categories, and 186 economically disadvantaged sections.

The registration period will go until March 18, after which the opportunity for application form modification will be open from March 22 to 24. The SSC will administer the computer-based test from May 6 to May 8.

SSC examination fees

Candidates must pay a registration cost of Rs 100, which may only be done online by BHIM UPI, net banking, or a Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay credit or debit card. Women candidates, applicants from SC, ST, PwBD, and ex-servicemen would not be required to pay any fees. The online cost can be paid by applicants until March 19.

The SSC will impose a correction cost of Rs 200 for editing and resubmitting updated or corrected applications for the first time, and Rs 500 for the second time. The corrective charges will apply to all candidates, regardless of gender or category.

SSC exam pattern

The SSC will hold three distinct CBT tests with objective-type multiple-choice questions for positions requiring a minimum educational qualification of matriculation, upper secondary, and degree or higher. Students will receive two marks for each correct answer, but 0.5 points will be removed for each incorrect response. Students will have 60 minutes to attempt the question paper.
