SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 Result: Candidates who took the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) 2023 exam are asking for amended results because far fewer people than in recent years qualified for the main exam. The applicants claimed that despite there being more openings, the commission only summoned a smaller number of applicants.

71,112 students this year were eligible to take the second exam. Some applicants compared the number of eligible applicants over the years and said that only 8.4 times the openings were filled for the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam, whereas 12–15 times as many applicants used to be accepted for the mains exam. More than 1 lakh people had passed the prelims exam in recent years, aspirants noted.

On September 19, SSC CGL Tier 1 results 2023 for the preliminary test taken from July 14 to July 27 were released. For the positions of assistant audit officer and assistant accounting officer, 4,377 applicants were shortlisted. Both 3,140 and 3,123 candidates for statistical investigator were chosen. All other positions saw the selection of 71,112 applicants. Candidates who passed the preliminary examination will show up for the SSC CGL tier 2 exam 2023, which is scheduled for October 25–October 27.

Many applicants raised this demand on X and wrote:-

A candidate wrote on X, “Believe it or not .. But we are suffering a lot by the unfair result given by SSC. It was the last attempt for some of us and even after preparing hard, we failed just because of the unfair result. What are we gonna do now?”

 

Calling SSC cruel, another student wrote, How can be ssc so cruel by calling just 8.4 times candidates for the mains examination? It is just intolerable. We want 15 times result. We want revised result.”

 

An X user wrote, “It is a high time to make a fixed rule to qualify the candidates in exams.Your whims and fancies won't work here anymore.”
