SSC CGL 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the application date for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (2024). Those who were unable to apply for the test earlier can now do so online at ssc.gov.in by July 27 (11 p.m.).
Previously, the deadline to apply for SSC CGL 2024 was July 24. The deadline for paying the exam fee has also been delayed to July 28 from July 25. Other dates and information provided on the exam notification, such as the correction window, will remain unchanged.
The eligibility conditions for the examination, such as age and educational qualification, vary for each position. Applicants should thoroughly read the exam notification before applying for the test.
SSC CGL 2024: Important dates
- Last date for fee payment: July 28
- Correction window: August 10 to 11
- Tier 1 examination (tentative): September-October
- Tier 2 examination (tentative): December, 2024
To submit the forms, aspirants must pay ₹100. The cost has been waived for women and candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) who qualify for reservation.
The SSC CGL recruiting process will involve a two-tier computer-based exam, followed by document verification.
After passing the computer-based exam, the shortlisted candidates will be invited by the user departments to verify their documents.
The minimum qualifying marks are 30% for unreserved candidates, 25% for OBC and EWS, and 20% for all other categories.
The maximum percentage of errors permitted (minimum qualifying requirements) in the test is 20% for unreserved applicants, 25% for OBC and EWS applicants, and 30% for all other categories.
