SSC CHSL Notification 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the registration process for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2024. Candidates can apply for various posts, including Lower Division Clerk LDC /Junior Secretariat Assistant JSA; Postal Assistant PA / Sorting Assistant; Data Entry Operators (DEOs). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at ssc.gov.in.
This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 3712 vacant seats in various posts including, Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator posts. Candidates are advised to read the official notification before filling out the application form.
SSC CHSL Exam 2024: Important Dates
The SSC CHSL 2024 registration link will be activated till May 7, while the deadline to submit the application fee will be May 8. The application form correction window will open from May 10 to May 11, 2024.
The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam will be held on July 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2024 at various designated centers across the country. The SSC CHSL admit card is expected to be released one week before the exam date.
SSC CHSL Registration 2024: Age Limit
The SSC CHSL exam requires candidates to be at least 18 years old and no older than 27 years. Eligibility for age relaxation is subject to the established rules and regulations.
SSC CHSL 2024: Exam Pattern
Candidates must pass each stage of the SSC CHSL exam. Tier I involves answering objective multiple-choice questions in computer-based test mode, while Tier II also comprises objective-type questions. For further details, candidates should refer to the SSC official notification.

SSC CHSL 2024: Educational Qualification
To qualify for the Data Entry Operator (DEO) position within the Department/Ministry, candidates must have completed 12th grade in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised board. For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade A positions, completion of Class 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognised board is required.
