UGC NET December Exam 2025: The National Testing Agency, NTA has announced the UGC NET December Exam 2025 dates on their official website. Those students who have registered for the UGC–NET December 2025 examination will be able to check the official notification on the official website of NTA at nta.ac.in.

UGC NET December Exam 2025: Exam Dates OUT

The IGC NET 2025 examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency from December 31 to January 7, 2026 in computer based test mode across the country. The Examination paper will consist of two different sections, each of these sections will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions.

UGC NWT Exam dates

 The students must note that there will be no break between the examinations. The time duration to complete the written examination is 3 hours without any break. The exam will consist of 300 marks questions and total number of questions is 150.

UGC NET December Exam 2025: Application Fee

The application fee for the UGC NET 2025 December Examination is Rs 1150 for general/unreserved category students, Rs 600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL category students and Rs 325  for SC/ST/PwD and third gender category students. The payment to submit the registration fee will be done through online mode.

The registration process is currently underway and the last date to apply for the UGC NET 2025 is November 7, 2025. The last date for submission of examination fee is till November 7, 2025. The correction window will open on November 10, 2025 for modifications and will close on November 12, 2025.

UGC NET December Exam 2025: How to apply

Step 1. Students must visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2. Click on UGC NET December Exam 2025 dates notice is available on the home page.

Step 3. A new page will open on the screen where candidates can check the UGC NET 2025 December exam dates.

Step 4. Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further reference.
