UGC NET June 2024 Registration:  The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test June 2024 tonight (11:59 pm). Interested and eligible candidates who have not applied yet can submit their UGC NET 2024 application form at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The UGC NET application correction window will open between May 21 and May 23. Registered candidates can make fee payments until 11:59 pm on May 20 using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. The UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted in 181 test cities on June 18.

According to the notification, candidates must ensure that the email address and mobile number provided in the online application form belong solely to them or their parents/guardians. The NTA will communicate all information only via email to the registered email address or via SMS to the registered mobile number.

General category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,150. General-EWS and OBC(NCL) candidates need to pay Rs 600, while SC, ST, PwD, and Third Gender candidates have an application fee of Rs 325.

The UGC NET exam is conducted for the following purposes: the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programs, and admission to PhD programs only at Indian universities and colleges.

UGC NET June 2024 Registration: Here's How To Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website-- ugcnet.nta.ac.in. 

Step 2: Click on the link 'UGC NET June 2024 registration/login' on the homepage

Step 3: Now click on the login page and fill out the application form

Step 4: Upload the required documents and pay the application fee

Step 5: Click on the submit button
