UP Board Exams 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has published the answer sheet evaluation dates for the Class 10 and 12 board exams. The process of evaluating the board test answer sheets will begin on March 16 and continue until March 31. The boards established a total of 260 evaluation centres.
According to a news release issued by board secretary Dibyakant Shukla on his official X account, a total of 1,47,097 examiners have been recruited to review 30.1 crore answer sheets from Class 10, 12 UP board exams.
Out of 1,47,097 examiners, 94,802 are assigned to analyze 1.76 crore answer sheets for the high school exam, while 52,295 are assigned to evaluate 1.25 crore answer sheets for the intermediate exam.
The answer sheet evaluation process will take 13 working days. The evaluation process will be postponed from March 24 to 26 due to the Holika festival.
According to the data provided in the press release, 55,25,308 pupils registered for Class 10, and 12 UP Board exams in the 2024 academic year. Out of these, 29,47,311 students enrolled for the UP Board Class 12 examination, while 25,77,997 registered for the Class 10 examination.
Total number of evaluation exam centres
The boards have established 260 evaluation centres, including 83 government schools and 177 non-government-aided secondary schools.
To analyze the UP board Class 12 test answer sheets, 131 evaluation centres have been established. The Class 10 UP board exam answer sheet will be evaluated at 116 evaluation centres. In addition, 13 other evaluation centres have been chosen to evaluate both Class 10 and Class 12 board test answer sheets.
According to the timetable, the UP board test began on February 22. The exam is conducted in two shifts: 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and 2 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. The UP Board Class 10 and 12 exams for 2024 are slated to end on March 9.
