UP Board 12th Practical Exam Date 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Board has rescheduled its Intermediate Practical Exams due to the JEE Main exams scheduled from January 22 to January 30. The practical exams will now be conducted in two phases: the first phase will take place from February 1 to February 8, while the second phase will be held from February 9 to February 16. The updated timetable was issued by UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh on Saturday.

Previously, the first phase was planned from January 23 to January 31, and the second phase was scheduled from February 1 to February 8.

As per the revised schedule, the first phase of the practical exams will now be conducted in the districts under Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur divisions. Similarly, the second phase will be held in the districts under Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti divisions.

The Secretary explained that a significant number of UP Board Class 12 students also participate in the JEE Main exam. To ensure students can attend both exams with full focus, the practical exam schedule has been adjusted.

Marks To Be Uploaded Via Mobile App

The UP Board has introduced a new system to ensure transparency in practical exams. Examiners are now required to upload students' marks directly onto the board's dedicated mobile app while at the exam center. The app will only function within a 200-meter radius of the exam center, as per the media reports.

Moreover, examiners must upload a selfie with the students. Principals have also been assigned the responsibility of monitoring the exams and maintaining recordings to ensure fair conduct.
