UP Police Paper Leak 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Police Constable exam held on February 17 and 18, was cancelled due to allegations of a paper leak. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that a new date would be set within six months. In response to the paper leak, significant action has been taken the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UPSTF) has blacklisted Edutest, the Ahmedabad-based company responsible for conducting the exam.

Investigators have reported that Edutest's Managing Director, Vineet Arya, has left the country. Despite receiving four summons from the Uttar Pradesh Police Special Task Force to record his statement, he failed to appear before the authorities. Legal action will be taken against Edutest for its alleged involvement in the paper leak.

Over 48 lakh aspirants, including approximately 16 lakh women, participated in the UP Police Recruitment Exam 2024, which was held on February 17 and 18. The exam took place across 2,385 centers in four shifts, spanning all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, with the goal of filling 60,244 positions in the UP police force.
