Schools Closed in UP: To ensure the seamless conduct of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) exam, authorities have decided to close schools in 35 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Many schools will remain closed on October 28. Students are advised to contact their respective schools to know the status.

The UPPSC PET 2023 is scheduled to take place on October 28 and 29. According to media reports, over 20 lakh candidates are expected to participate in this government entrance examination. To ensure the seamless administration of the exam, the state government has issued a directive prohibiting the scheduling of any other examinations on the specified dates. Schools located in the 35 districts have been instructed to temporarily suspend their regular operations.

The UPPSC PET examination will be held in two shifts. The first shift will start from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will start from 3 pm to 5 pm. The UPPSC PET admit card is expected to be issued soon. Once released candidates can check the admit card at upsssc.gov.in. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website regularly for the latest updates.

Candidates who are going to appear for the UPPSC PET examination must bring their hard copy of the admit card along with a valid ID card on the day of the examination. Candidates who fail to bring their admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
