Varanasi School News: The District Magistrate of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, has issued an order mandating online classes for all schools up to Class 12 until February 5. This decision has been made to address the growing traffic congestion in the city due to the ongoing MahaKumbh.
As per the directive, offline classes for students from Class 1 to Class 12 will remain suspended between January 27 and February 5. To ensure the timely completion of the syllabus, online classes will continue during regular school hours.
The order, issued on the evening of January 26, applies to all CBSE, ICSE, and state board schools in the region. However, schools are permitted to conduct practical examinations during this period. Students may be called to campus for practical exams, but routine classes will strictly be conducted online. This step has been taken to manage the increasing crowd on the roads and maintain smooth traffic flow in the city.
