UPSC Civil Service Examination 2024 Notification: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the official notification for the UPSC Civil Service Examination (CSE) 2024 on February 14. The notification will include the details of eligibility criteria, age limit, exam pattern, registration dates, and other important details. Once released, candidates will be able to check the UPSC CSE 2024 notification at upsc.gov.in.
The commission released the tentative exam schedule for 2024 in May 2023. According to the schedule, the CSE 2024 notification will be released on February 14, and the online application process will probably start on the same day. The registration deadline for the Civil Service Examination 2024 will be March 5. The preliminary exam is set for May 26. The Civil Service Mains 2024 will take place on October 19.
UPSC CSE 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the UPSC Civil Service Examination 2024 candidates' minimum age should be 21 years while the upper age limit should be 32 years. A candidate must possess an equivalent qualification or a bachelor's degree from an Indian university recognised by the federal or state governments, by an educational institution authorised by Parliament, or by a university designated as such under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
UPSC CSE 2024: Application Fee
According to the past years' trends, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 100 (except women, candidates who are SC, ST, and persons with benchmark disabilities, who are not required to pay this charge).

UPSC CSE 2024: Exam Pattern
Civil Service (Preliminary) Exam: The purpose of this objective stage is to choose candidates for the Main Examination. In the multiple-choice section of the exam, applicants need to be aware that answering a question incorrectly will result in a mark deduction.
Civil Service (Main) Exam: This phase, which includes written and interview components, is used to choose applicants for the many Services and roles that were previously described.
