UPSC CSE 2024 Registration: The Union Public Service Commission has commenced the application process for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024 today, February 14, 2024. The deadline to apply will be March 5, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at upsc.gov.in.

According to the notification, the UPSC CSE correction process will begin on March 6 and conclude on March 12, 2024. Candidates are advised to read the detailed notification of UPSC CSE before filling out the application form.

UPSC CSE 2024: Vacancy Details

The UPSC recruitment drive is expected to fill up a total of approximately 1056 vacant seats. "The number of vacancies to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 1056 which include 40 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category, i.e. 06 Vacancies for candidates of (a) blindness and low vision; 12 Vacancies for (b) deaf and hard of hearing; 09 Vacancies for (c) locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy; and 13 Vacancies for (e) multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (c) including deaf-blindness. The final number of vacancies may undergo change after getting firm number of vacancies from Cadre Controlling Authorities," reads the notification.

UPSC CSE 2024: Educational Qualification

To be eligible, a candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree from a university recognised by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India, or from other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament, or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

UPSC CSE 2024: Age Limit

In order to be eligible candidates must have minimum age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1st of August, 2024.

Step 1: Go to the official website-- upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link ‘UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2024’ on the homepage
Step 3: Candidates will have to register themselves
Step 4: Fill out the application form and pay the required fee
Step 5: Click on the submit button
