UPSC IFS 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination in 2024. As a result, registration for the UPSC IFS 2024 has opened on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. Eligible applicants may apply for the test by March 5, 2024.

To apply for the test, candidates must pay a Rs 100 application fee, except females, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disability. The cost can be paid using a debit card, credit card, UPI, or through online banking.

UPSC IFS 2024: Eligibility Criteria

- The candidate must be a citizen of India

- The candidate must be 21 years old and no older than 32 years old on August 1, 2024, with a birth date between August 2, 1992 and August 1, 2003.

- An applicant must have a bachelor's degree in animal husbandry and veterinary science, botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, statistics, and zoology, or a bachelor's degree in agriculture, forestry, or engineering from one of the institutions.

UPSC IFS 2024 will be held in two stages: the civil services preliminary exam to select candidates for the mains, and the IFS mains test (written and interview). The test will be held to fill a total of 150 positions in the Indian Forest Service.

UPSC IFS 2024: Documents Required

- Photograph and signature scanned in.jpg format.

- The file size should not exceed 300 KB and not be less than 50 KB in size.

- Educational Certificates

- Any picture ID from an Aadhar Card, Voter Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Driver's Licence

- Personal information such as name, father's name, mother's name, and date of birth.

How to register for the UPSC IFS 2024?

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the IFS registration link and then generate the login credentials.

Step 3: Now, candidates have to log in themselves and fill out the application form.

Step 4: After this, upload all the required documents and make the payment.

Step 5: Submit the application form and save it.

Step 6: Download the application form and take a printout of the same for further reference.
