UPSC ESE Final Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has revealed the final results of the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024, which recommends 206 individuals for employment. The UPSC ESE final results can be accessed on the commission's official website, upsc.gov.in.
Rohit Dhondge won the exam, while Harshit Pandey and Laxmikant finished second and third, respectively.
The commission recommends 92 Civil Engineering, 18 Mechanical Engineering, 26 Electrical Engineering, and 70 E&T Engineering applicants for appointment.
The general category has the highest number of nominated applicants (71), followed by OBC (59), SC (34), EWS (22) and ST (20).
The written portion of the exam was administered in June, with interviews or personality tests taking place in October-November.
The candidature of 43 nominated applicants (17 civil, 2 mechanical, 6 electrical, and 18 E&T) is provisional. Their roll numbers were released in the outcome notice.
The commission stated that it has a reserve list of 82 applicants in accordance with the guidelines. The recruiting exam was given for 251 positions.

“Appointments shall be made strictly by the extant rules and the number of vacancies available. Allotment of candidates to various Services/Posts shall be made according to ranks obtained and preference of Services expressed by them,” the commission said.
