UPSC Geo Scientist Mains 2024 Result: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Combined Geo-Scientist main exam 2024 results. Applicants who took the recruitment exam can get their UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist mains result 2024 from the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
A total of 69 individuals have been selected for the positions of geologist, hydrogeologist, geophysics, geophysicist, and chemist/chemical.
Aspirants can get the UPSC geo scientist mains 2024 result using their login credentials, which include their registration number and date of birth.
The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist personality test took place from December 9 to 12, 2024. The UPSC geoscientist preliminary and main exams took place on February 18, and June 22 and 23, respectively.

UPSC Geo Scientist Mains 2024: Appointment offer after document verification
The results of 14 recommended applicants are tentative. Aspirants in the provisional category must provide original documentation as quickly as feasible and within the three-month deadline.
The offer of appointment will be granted only once the Commission has verified these documents, which include educational qualifications, identity evidence, and other eligibility-related paperwork. The provisional status will be available for three months after the final result is announced. During this time, applicants must provide the necessary documents. If an applicant does to do so within this time frame, their candidature will be cancelled, and they will no longer be given consideration for the position, regardless of exam score.
Furthermore, beyond the three-month deadline, the Commission will not accept any further contact from the applicant, which means no appeals or requests for extensions will be accepted. This procedure ensures that only qualified individuals are appointed, hence ensuring the recruiting process's integrity and fairness.
