UPSC Prelims Results 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to announce the UPSC CSE Prelims result 2024 soon. Based on last year's trend, where the exam was conducted on May 26 and the results were announced on June 12, this year's Prelims scores can be expected soon, given that the test was conducted on June 16, if the commission follows a similar pattern. Candidates who took the Civil Services Preliminary examination will be able to check and download the UPSC Prelims Results 2024 at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

The UPSC CSE exam was conducted in two shifts for General Studies Paper 1 and Paper 2, with a total of 400 marks. All questions were objective-type with four options each. Candidates were required to select the correct or most appropriate answer for each question.

After the Prelims examination results are announced, selected candidates will be called for the Mains round, which consists of two parts: a written examination and a personality test.

To qualify for the Prelims examination, a candidate must score at least 33 per cent in General Studies Paper 2 and meet the overall qualifying marks requirement in General Studies Paper 1.

According to the commission's exam calendar, the UPSC Civil Services Mains Examination 2024 is tentatively scheduled to begin on September 20.

UPSC CSE Prelims Results 2024: Here's How To Download

Step 1: Go to the official website-- upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link "UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Result 2024" on the homepage

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and candidates will have to enter the required details

Step 4: The UPSC CSE Prelims Results 2024 will appear on the screen
