Neha Banerjee's journey to cracking the UPSC exam while maintaining a full-time job is nothing short of inspirational. Born in Kolkata in 1995, she began her academic journey at South Point High School. After successfully passing the IIT entrance exam, she secured admission to IIT Kharagpur, where she pursued a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering. Following her studies, Neha worked as an Electrical Engineer at Adobe, a multinational company, for two years.

Despite the challenges of balancing a demanding job and UPSC preparation, Neha displayed unwavering determination. Her hard work and commitment paid off in 2020 when she successfully cleared the UPSC exam on her first attempt, achieving an impressive All India Rank of 20.

Neha's preparation strategy included participating in mock interviews at various coaching centers and making effective use of online resources, particularly leveraging YouTube for study materials. In a blog post, she shared that her UPSC interview took place on February 19, 2020, and her last day at work was January 31, 2020, leaving her with less than 20 days to prepare for the final round of the UPSC selection process.

During her interview, which lasted nearly 35 minutes, Neha demonstrated her depth of knowledge and versatility. She fielded questions on a range of topics, including her participation in the National Service Scheme (NSS), freedom of speech, and the role of civil servants.

Neha Banerjee's success story serves as a testament to the power of determination, hard work, and effective time management. Her achievement not only highlights her individual capabilities but also inspires countless others who aspire to crack the UPSC exam while juggling other responsibilities.
