To prepare for the 2026 board exams, the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council has directed all schools to update their school profile. It should be updated at the official website, upmsp.edu.in. Schools must enter full details of the campus, building and facilities, affiliation, subjects taught, principal, teachers and non-teaching staff.

Schools must verify these details to ensure that teachers and staff can avail themselves of the cashless medical facility announced by the Chief Minister.

 

Under the school profile, it is mandatory to fill the details of the infrastructure facilities of the school and various details related to the school such as recognition, approved class/subject, details of working Principal/Headmaster/Lecturer/Teacher and non-teaching staff and in view of the announcement of cashless medical facility made by the Honorable Chief Minister on the occasion of Teachers' Day, it is mandatory to update and verify these details immediately.

Geo-location and Profile Update Mandatory: 

All Principals/Headmasters should upload a photo (in which the school name is clearly visible) standing in front of the school gate through the option provided on the mobile app UPMSP-Attendance so that error-free geo location of all schools can be obtained.

The board has directed that all schools should enter the correct details of all working teachers and staff in their profile. Apart from this, the names of those who no longer teach should be removed immediately and the names of newly appointed staff or teachers should be added correctly. Schools will also have to enter the mobile numbers of teachers correctly.

Daily Attendance Record Mandatory:

All schools will have to ensure that the online attendance of students, teachers and staff is recorded so that the authenticity of the details received is maintained. The notice said that some schools are still showing negligence in recording the daily attendance of students, teachers and staff on the council's portal and mobile app UPMSP-Attendance.
