WBJEE Counselling 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will declare the second round seat allotment result for WBJEE counselling tomorrow i.e. September 9, 2025. Candidates who had filled college and course preferences can check their allotment status at wbjeeb.nic.in.
Following the Calcutta High Court verdict that ordered the board to stick to the old reservation policy, WBJEEB has resumed the counselling process after a long delay. Allotted candidates can complete the document verification and admission process between September 9 and 11, 2025.
WBJEE 2025 BTech Round 2 Admissions will Consider:
1. Candidates not allotted any seat in Round 1.
2. Students who had opted for upgradation.
3. Candidates whose Round 1 allotments were cancelled due to document issues or other reasons.
Note: If a candidate’s seat is upgraded in Round 2, their earlier allotment will be automatically cancelled.
The counselling process has attracted a lot of attention this year due to the legal dispute over the state's OBC reservation policy. After hearing the case, the Calcutta High Court directed WBJEEB to follow the reservation criteria adopted earlier, clearing the way for resuming and completing the admission process without any further delay. Now, the document verification and admission process for the second round will be held between September 9 and 11.
