Delhi Lok Sabha Election 2024: As the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 is underway in the National Capital today, voters in Delhi are all set to participate in Phase 6 polling. Seven seats in Delhi, including New Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi, North East Delhi, East Delhi, South Delhi, and Chandni Chowk. The Election Commission of India has announced that voters can cast their ballots even without a voter ID card.

The voters can use alternative identity documents to verify one's identity at the polling stations. These documents include Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank or post office passbook, driving license, pension document, central or state government service ID and ration card. Additionally, the voter slip itself can serve as a valid proof of identification.

Delhi Lok Sabha Election: Misplaced Voter ID?

For those who may have misplaced or are unable to locate their voter ID cards, the Digilocker app provides a convenient solution. This government-backed digital locker allows citizens to access and download a variety of official documents, including the all-important Aadhaar card and PAN card, which can then be presented at the polling booth.

Delhi Lok Sabha Election:Download Voter ID Card

Moreover, the Election Commission's own website offers the facility to download the electronic version of the voter ID card, known as the E-Voter ID Card. This can be accessed by providing the Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) number, making the process seamless for those without a physical card.
