Chachoura (Madhya Pradesh) Assembly Election 2023: Madhya Pradesh will have elections for the 230 Assembly constituencies on November 17, 2023. The election is set to take place on December 3, 2023.

Chachoura is a Madhya Pradesh state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha seat that is part of the Rajgarh Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Chachoura is located in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district in the Chambal area. It is classified as a rural seat.

The seat has a total of 2,03,378 voters, with 1,08,333 male voters and 95,042 female voters. Chachoura had an 80.46 per cent voter turnout in the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections. Turnout was 74.18 per cent in 2013, and 68.57 per cent in 2008.

Chachoura Assembly Election 2018 and 2013

In 2018, Congress candidate Lakshman Singh won the election with 81,908 total votes (49.79 per cent).

Mamta Meena of the BJP won the seat by 34,901 votes (24.07 per cent) in 2013. Mamta received 57.1 per cent of the votes cast.

INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections by a margin of 8,022 votes (8 per cent), accounting for 33.96 per cent of all votes cast.
