Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh) Assembly Election 2023: Madhya Pradesh will have elections for the 230 Assembly constituencies on November 17, 2023. On December 3, 2023, the election results will be made public.

Chhatarpur is a Madhya Pradesh state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency that is part of the Tikamgarh (SC) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Chhatarpur is located in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district and Vindhya Pradesh region. It is classified as a rural seat.

The seat has a total of 2,04,325 voters, with 1,09,439 male voters and 94,881 female voters. Chhatarpur had a voter turnout of 71.07 per cent in the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections. Turnout was 48.8 per cent in 2013, and 60.4 per cent in 2008.

Chhatarpur Assembly Election 2018 and 2013

In 2018, Alok Chaturvedi of INC won the assembly seat by 65,774 votes (44.84 per cent).

Lalita Yadav of the BJP won the seat by a margin of 2,217 votes (1.76 per cent) in 2013. Lalita Yadav received 35.37 per cent of the votes cast.

The BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 7,855 votes (8.88 per cent), accounting for 34.42 per cent of all votes cast.
