Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday released its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Legislative Assembly election in Rajasthan. The list contains the name of 15 candidates. The party has fielded Amit Chaudhary from Hanumangarh, while Anshuman Singh Bhati has been granted ticket from Kolayat.

Rajkumar Rinva, Upen Yadav, and Gopal Yadav have been fielded from the Sardarshahar, Shahpura, and Civil Lines constituencies respectively. As per the list released by BJP, Chandramohan Batvada will be its MLA candidate from Kishan Pole. Meanwhile, BJP leaders Ravi Nayyar and Vijay Bansal will be contesting for the posts of MLA from Adarsh Nagar and Bharatpur respectively.

 

From Rajakhera, the saffron party has fielded Neerja Ashok Sharma, who is the only female candidate whose figured in the latest list. Mavli is the only constituency in the list which currently has a BJP MLA. However, sitting MLA Dharm Narayan has been denied ticket by the party from his constituency this time. The BJP has instead fielded Dr KG Paliwal from Mavli.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Singh and Babu Singh Rathore have been selected the BJP's MLA candidates from Masuda and Shergarh respectively. Premchand Gochar has been given a chance by BJP to get elected to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly as Pipalda's representative in the upcoming polls.

Moreover, Prahlad Gunjal and Radheshyam Bairva will be contesting on BJP tickets from Kota North and Baran Atru (SC) respectively. With the list released on Sunday, the BJP has now declared the name of its candidates for 199 out of the 200 Assembly seats in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan is set to go to the polls to elect representatives for its Legislative Assembly. Polling for the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly election will be held in a single phase on November 25. The counting of votes will commence on December 3 and official results are expected to be declared by December 5, as per the Election Commission.
