Karnataka Elections Results 2023: Voting for the 224-member Karnataka Assembly took take place on May 10, and the results will be declared on May 13. The state is the BJP's sole stronghold in southern India, and it is all set to take back control. On May 10, voters will choose the 224-member Karnataka Assembly, and the results will be announced on May 13. Three political parties—the Congress, the Janata Dal (Secular), and the ruling BJP—will square off in the state.
Sringeri is an assembly constituency in Karnataka. It falls under the Udupi Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency.

Sringeri Assembly Elections 2023:
Sringeri (Gen) is a State Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the Chikmagalur district and Central Karnataka region of Karnataka and is a part of the Udupi Chikmagalur Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency. This year, the BJP has fielded D.N. Jeevaraj, while T.D. Rajegowda will contest from the Indian National Congress, and from AAP, it is Rajan Gowda H S.
There are a total of 1,62,160 voters in the constituency that include general voters, NRI voters and service voters. Amongst the general voters 80,378 are male, 81,725 female and 5 others. The electorate s*x ratio in the constituency is 101.62 and the approximate literacy rate is 83%.
Sringeri Assembly Elections 2018:
The Sringeri legislative assembly constituency had 166026 voters overall in 2018. There were 137053 total valid votes cast. T. D. Rajegowda, an Indian National Congress candidate, won the seat and was elected as the MLA. 62780 people voted for him overall. With a total of 60791 votes, D N Jeevaraj of the Bharatiya Janata Party came in second. By 1989 votes, he lost.
In the 2013 Karnataka Assembly Elections, the BJP won this seat by a margin of 3,452 votes (2.88%), winning 48.69% of the total votes cast. Voter turnout for the seat in 2013 was 80.08%.
In the 2008 Assembly Elections, the BJP won this seat by a margin of 2,250 votes (2.08%), garnering 40.36% of the total votes cast. Voter turnout for this seat in the 2018 election was 82.02%.
