Telangana Assembly Election 2023: Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituency is one of the 119 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Telangana. It comes under Ranga Reddy district and is a part of Bhuvanagiri Lok Sabha constituency. The polling of the 119-member Legislative Assembly in Telangana will be held on November 30 in a single phase while the results will be announced on December 3.

As far as the Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituency is concerned, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has won two times from this seat. Currently, Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, a candidate of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which officially changed its name to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in 2022, represents the Ibrahimpatnam Assembly Constituency's MLA.
Ibrahimpatnam Assembly Election 2018
In the 2018 Assembly election, the TRS fielded Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chose Malreddy Ranga Reddy, and the TDP has given a ticket to Sama Ranga Reddy. Manchireddy Kishan Reddy fought Ibrahimpatnam constituency on a TDP ticket for two terms in 2009 and 2014. It's interesting to note that in 2018, Kishan Reddy ran for the Ibrahimpatnam assembly seat on the TRS ticket and defeated TDP candidate Sama Ranga Reddy with a margin of 376 votes.
Ibrahimpatnam Assembly Election 2014
In the 2014 Assembly election, TDP candidate Manchireddy Kishan Reddy won the seat against IND candidate Malreddy Ramreddy with a margin of 11,056 votes. Reddy got 48,397 votes and Ramreddy bagged 37,341 votes. Kyama Mallesha, INC candidate was the third runner-up who received 36,865 votes.
