Telangana Assembly Election 2023: The voting in Jubilee Hills constituency along with 118 Assembly seats will take place in a single phase on November 30 and the result will be declared on December 3. Currently, the Jubilee Hills constituency is ruled by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party.

The Jubilee Hills Assembly seat is part of the Secundrabad Lok Sabha constituency which falls in the Hyderabad district and Greater Hyderabad region. It is categorised as an urban seat. As far as the Jubilee Hills constituency is concerned, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which officially became a BRS in 2022, and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) secured each term. TDP won the Assembly election from Jubilee Hills in 2014 while TRS secured victory in 2018. Maganti Gopinath, a BRS candidate is the current sitting MLA from Jubilee Hills.

In the Jubilee Hills seat, there are 3,41,537 registered voters including 1,83,189 men, 1,58,337 women and 11 others. In the 2018 Telangana elections, Jubilee Hills recorded a voter turnout of 45.60 per cent. In 2014 the turnout was 50.18 per cent.

Jubilee Hills Assembly Election 2018

In the 2018 Assembly election, TRS fielded Maganti Gopinath whereas Congress gave a ticket to P Vishnuvardhan Reddy. The IND fielded Naveen Yadav while the BJP chose Ravula Sridhar Reddy. In 2018, the Jubilee Hills constituency was won by the TRS candidate against Congress with a margin of 16,004 votes.

Jubilee Hills Assembly Election 2014

Maganti Gopinath, who fought the election on a TDP ticket, won the Jubilee Hills seat by defeating AIMIM candidate Naveen Yadav V with a margin of 9,242 votes while Congress candidate P Vishnuvardhan Reddy secured the third runner-up with 33,642 votes.
