In a big turn of events, the Congress party is on the verge of emerging victorious in Telangana, upending the Bharat Rashtra Samithi's (BRS) dominance in the state. KT Rama Rao (KTR), son of outgoing Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, trolled himself on his yesterday’s post.
Less than 24 hours ago, KTR being confident enough, posted a picture of himself aiming with a gun, with a caption that read, "Hattrick Loading 3.0. Get ready to celebrate guys."
However, as the morning brought in early trends, the Congress reposted KTR's tweet, humorously asking, "Were you aiming for car tyres?" referencing the BRS poll symbol.

As the day progressed, Congress solidified its position, leaving KTR with no option other than to acknowledge the unexpected outcome, stating, "This one ain't gonna age well. Missed the mark."

He conceded defeat, expressing gratitude to the people of Telangana for providing two consecutive terms to the BRS. While not saddened by the result, KTR admitted to disappointment, vowing to take the outcome as a learning experience and promising a bounce back.
Adding to the BRS' woes, K Chandrashekar Rao, the two-time Chief Minister, found himself trailing in one of the two seats he contested against the Congress' young state chief, Revanth Reddy, in Kamareddy.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi, now rebranded as Bharat Rashtra Samithi, had been at the forefront of the statehood movement, enjoying unwavering support since Telangana's inception in 2014.
The Congress has surpassed the magic number, leading in 64 of the 119 seats, while BRS is ahead in 40 seats.
The Telangana political landscape now undergoes a significant transformation with this unexpected turn of events, marking the end of BRS' longstanding influence and setting the stage for Congress to take charge.
