Days after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal predicted Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s dismissal from the post after Lok Sabha polls, the latter rebuked the INDIA bloc members calling Delhi CM’s remark a ‘propaganda’ initiated by them. Schooling Kejriwal over principles, UP CM said the formed had made compromises with ideology to gain power but he will not do so.
“I am a Yogi. Principles matter to me and not Power. It is the opposition's propaganda that I will be removed as CM after the Lok Sabha elections. My duty is to back the party morally unlike Kejriwal,” he said while talking with Aaj Tak.
Besides, Yogi said he will, not once but 100 times, relinquish his post if asked to make compromises with the ideology. “Kejriwal ji you sacrificed your ideology for power. Whenever it comes to ideology, I will 100 times reject power,” UP CM added.
Addressing a press conference with SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Kejriwal had said Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pass on the baton to Amit Shah and was seeking votes for him amid ongoing Lok Sabha polls. Addressing a joint press conference with Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow, Kejriwal had said PM Modi will relinquish the top post as he completes 75 years of age on September 17 next year.
Besides, AAP supremo said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be removed from his post after BJP forms government as ‘he was only the only hurdle in Amit Shah’s way’.

Kejriwal stated that PM Modi was working for the past one and a half to two years to make Amit Shah the Prime Minister. He said PM Modi had already sidelined Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Devendra Fadnavis, Raman Singh, and Manohar Lal Khattar and now Yogi was the last obstacle in his path.
