100 Years Of Raj Kapoor: With a series of blockbuster movies that still have an impact on audience, Bollywood star Raj Kapoor has permanently reshaped the landscape of Indian cinema. His family is planning a lavish celebration to commemorate his 100th birthday, which will include showing 10 of his classic films in 40 Indian cities and 135 theaters in cutting-edge locations like PVR-INOX and Cinepolis theaters, transporting viewers back to the cinematic era.

To commemorate this momentous event, the Kapoor family reached Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. Saif Ali Khan and Alia Bhatt joined Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor at the private airport in Kalina. 

While Ranbir Kapoor wore a black bandhgala and pants to go with it, Alia Bhatt looked breathtaking in a red saree and matching sleeveless blouse.

Kareena Kapoor flaunted her smile in red ethnic ensemble. Saif Ali Khan, meanwhile, went above and beyond with a beige jacket, pyjamas and a white kurta.

For those who are unaware, Raj Kapoor passed away on June 2, 1988, at the age of 63. He was called the pioneer of Indian cinema. Additionally, he received the Padma Bhushan for his phenomenal contribution to the Hindi cinema. He was one of the youngest directors of his era and is regarded as a pioneer who introduced Hindi cinema to a worldwide audience, especially in the former Soviet Union.

In Hindi cinema, his acting legacy was continued by his sons, Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor. And now, among the most well-known Bollywood celebrities, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and others, carry that torch.
