The final chapter of 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' is finally here and there has been a lot of excitement about this film. The MCU fans might know that all the Marvel projects are somehow connected to each other and it can confusing for people to watch new Marvel films without any context.

1. Guardians Of The Galaxy
The first instalment of the 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' trilogy was released in 2014 and introduced the audience to the Guardians for the first time. The movie shows our main characters as intergalactic criminals trying to stop a fanatical warrior with plans to destroy the universe.

2. Guardians Of The Galaxy 2
The second instalment dives deeper into the personal lives of the Guardians as Peter Quill meets his father Ego, who is an ambitious celestial being.
3. Avengers: Infinity War
The characters of 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' were next seen in 'Avengers: Infinity War' where the team become friends with Thor and help the Avengers to save the universe from Thanos. Some of the major developments that happen in this film become crucial for future MCU films. *Spoiler Alert*
Teenager Groot, Star-Lord, and Drax are snapped into dust by Thanos and Gamora is killed by Thanos as well to get the Soul Stone. Only Rocket is left alive.
4. Avengers: Endgame
*Spoiler Alert* Rocket helps the Avengers to get people who were snapped into dust back by using time travel. Nebula and Gamora from 2014 come to 2023 to fight against Thanos. As the 2014 Gamora has no memory of being with the Guardians, Peter Quill is left heartbroken. This plot will continue in 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3'.

5. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
Even though no bigger events occur in the 'Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special', it does show what the Guardians are doing in the present day. *Spoiler Alert*
